Acacia Schools elects new leaders

NORTH RIDING – New leaders have been elected at Acacia Schools in North Riding to help with increased numbers.

Acacia Schools elected a new head boy and head girl as well as four prefects on 27 July. The elected leaders of the school were officially sworn in due to the sudden increased number of learners at the school.

New learners fed the school from neighbouring schools in the third term.

The new prefects chosen to lead the school are Allen Mwashita, Arnold Achonu, Ayanda Mautla, Denzel Achonu, Tawana Phiri (head girl) and Thulani Kamangwana (head boy). The leaders were excited to take up the responsibility to lead the school for the rest of 2019. The six learners are the pioneers of prefects at the school, as they are the first prefects in the history of the growing school.
