Linden Police Station gets a fresh lick of paint

LINDEN – Universal Paints Linden who celebrated their Mandela Day 2019 by painting one of the offices at the Linden Police Station.

The Linden police would like to extend a massive word of thanks to Universal Paints Linden who celebrated their Mandela Day 2019 by painting one of the offices at the Linden Police Station.

Linden police’s Station Commander Colonel Ahmed Musthan said that he was grateful for the community support received at the station and said it was a big surprise on the day.

“I would like to give a big thank you to Nathan Hill, the manager of Universal Paints, for taking time out of his day to lend his and his team’s support to our station,” said Musthan.

The office is used to register crime dockets during the day and night shifts.

Hill said, “We try to lend as much support as we can to our local community throughout the year, and especially on Mandela Day. Last year, we helped to paint a lot of local schools, but this year we decided to lend a hand to our local police.

“We love the work that our police do in keeping us safe, so we thought we’d devote a bit of time to them on Mandela Day to make their working space a bit more beautiful.”
