‘Laugh Yourself Warm’ at the Randpark Golf Club

RANDPARK – Chris Forrest invites you to 'Laugh Yourself Warm' at the Randpark Golf Club.

Local comedian Chris Forrest is inviting you to join him and his stand-up friends ‘Laugh Yourself Warm’, an evening of comedy hosted at the Randpark Golf Club on 28 June.

“It’s going to be a good, clean and fun comedy night and I have brought a few of my comic pals along to help me out,” he said.

Forrest will be joined by comedy favourites Dave Levinsohn, Richelieu Beaunoir and Ntosh Madlingozi.

As it is the middle of winter, Forrest suggests that there is nothing better than a good old chuckle to warm yourself up.

Forrest said, “This is a local comedy night that everyone can enjoy. It will be a fundraiser for the Randpark Residents Association. I am a resident in the area and I am part of the residents association, and from time to time I help out with events and fundraising. So naturally, a comedy night is in order.

“I believe that we have done an amazing job at improving the security in the suburb.”

The Randburg Sun reported at the end of last year about a security camera project that took place in the Randpark area to help improve the security of the suburb, funded by the residents association.

At the time, chairperson of the Randpark Residents Association Claude Nortjé said, “This technology will offer a completely different dynamic to our security. We will not have only purely a ‘reactive’ security solution such as patrol vehicles, but a proactive one capable of spotting the crimes before and as they are happening.”

Forrest continued, “We’re hoping to pack out the Randpark Golf Club and have a really fun time. Please bring your friends and family along, there is plenty of good food and drinks on offer, and comedy that won’t disappoint.”

The event starts at 7pm and tickets are available at rra.za.org/events for R100 or R120 at the door.

The Randburg Sun is excited to be giving away two free tickets to the event. For more information, visit our Facebook page.
