50-year-old male sustains a gunshot wound in residence shooting
RANDBURG – A 50-year-old male sustained a gunshot wound to his forearm and blunt force trauma to his upper torso in a shooting at a residence in Bloubosrand, Randburg.

According to a statement released by the media liaison officer for Netcare 911, Shawn Herbst, Netcare 911 responded to reports of a shooting at 9.03pm on Saturday (7 April).
“The patient was treated on scene by advanced life support and once stabilised was transported by ambulance to the hospital for further treatment,” said Herbst.
Circumstances leading up to the shooting are being investigated by the South African Police Service.
