A gracious donation

FAIRLAND – Youngster at Jungle Tots Fairland had a fun day of messy activities.

FAIRLAND – The little ones at Jungle Tots Fairland recently enjoyed a fun ‘My teeth and the dentist’ theme at their school.

Nadeen Parau, the practice manager at Choonara Orthodontics in Blackheath Randburg, donated toothbrushes and toothpaste to the Jungle Tots Fairland after they approached the orthodontist’s room for some samples. “The practice manager was very helpful. We were called the following day to let us know that the samples were ready for collection,” said Nicolette Mc Rae the principal.

The little ones loved the themes and during snack time, they all talked about healthy and unhealthy food. The children used gel, balls and toothpaste during fun activities like messy play, and even painted with toothbrushes.

Mc Rae added, “The children listened attentively to the themes that were discussed each day. There were comments over the weekend from parents when the children took the new toothbrushes and toothpaste home.”
