Ferndale on Republic Shopping Centre takes shape
FERNDALE – Construction of Ferndale on Republic is on track for its opening in July.
FERNDALE – The Randburg Sun joined potential tenants of the currently under construction Ferndale on Republic Shopping Centre for a hard hat tour of the renovation work at the centre on 21 February.
Moolman Group CEO Pieter Lombaard said, “The construction of Ferndale on Republic is well underway and set to transform Randburg’s shopping landscape with the opening set for July. The Moolman Group, as lead developers, in partnership with The PHG Group and Braam van Huyssteen, believe this project, in contrast to previous endeavours, is a complete redevelopment, which will focus specifically on community shopping.
“We are confident that our calculated efforts will invert any undesirable perceptions, and we are looking forward to the successful completion of this exciting project, which is set to become a landmark development in Randburg.”
The retail node will feature various restaurants such as Mugg and Bean, Panarottis, Ocean Basket, Seattle Coffee, The Daily Coffee, King Pie, Tuc n Tap, Moroccan Café and Spur.
Ferndale on Republic will be home to a 3 463m² newly renovated and relocated Pick n Pay opening in April 2019. Clicks is also growing in size and the store will be trading from their 900m² premise during the second half of 2019.
The tenant mix will be further complemented by Outdoor Warehouse, PNA, Crazy Plastics, Baby Boom, Bargain Books, Torga Optical, Crazy Pets, Shoe City and Tekkie Town, and welcomes back Pep, Ackermans and Mr Price Clothing. Absa and Capitec Bank will further enhance the shopping experience with banking convenience.
