#ICYMI: Linden police officers visit preschool to teach about safety in the community

WINDSOR EAST – Children were taught about the importance of police officers in the community.

WINDSOR EAST – Linden police visited the Amelia Day Care Centre and spoke to the children about safety in the community.

They taught the children about the role of police officers in the community and about theft.

Linden Police Station’s communication and social crime officer, Constable Takalani Matumba, said, “The response from the children was very good. The children were asked a variety of questions about the police service.”

The station would like preschools and schools in and around Linden to know that are welcome to invite them for a visit. “The station will often do these kinds of visits to ensure schools as it ensures lifesaving information is shared with the little ones.”
