JOHANNESBURG NORTH – British International Preparatory School celebrated its founders and announced something special.

British International Preparatory School celebrated its Founders Day on 23 October to honour those that helped to establish the school.

British International Preparatory School youngsters sing their school anthem with pride.

School principal Garth Thompson said, “A school is only as strong as the people who raise it up and so we took the opportunity to celebrate those founding members who laid the foundations for us to grow upon.

“We thank the founders for all their hard work and dedication, but most of all we thank the person who actioned her vision to create the school, our dean Margret Oshry.”

The school also used the day to commemorate another important milestone in the school’s history. Thompson explains, “It all started with a dream, and half a decade later we celebrated the tremendous progress our school family has made, in such a short time, in the best way possible – in the hall of our brand new premises.

Margret Oshry addresses the school on the occasion of their fifth birthday in British International Preparatory School’s new school hall on their new campus.

“Though in the final stages of completion, our new buildings already stand as a testament to the determination and perseverance of our staff members, parents, and, most important of all, our children.”

The new school premises is situated in Selbourne Road, Johannesburg North.
