Aurora rider makes her school proud at national championship

SUNDOWNER – A Curro Aurora youngster made her school proud at the Sanesa National Championship 2018.

Curro Aurora’s Rae-Kyndra Ragoobeer once again competed in the South African National Equestrian Schools Association National Championship 2018 from 3 to 6 October at the Kyalami Equestrian Park.

The young Aurora rider faced strong competition as she was joined by hundreds of high school riders representing schools and their provinces across the country.

Ragoobeer represented Curro Aurora High and the Gauteng Province in the disciplines of performance riding and in-hand utility.

She rode her horse Waterside Abby Road in a partnership which yielded outstanding results against the highest level of equestrian competitive riders in the country.

For performance riding, she achieved second place individually and third riding for the Gauteng A-Team out of all provincial teams.

For in-hand utility riding, she came in 17th place individually and competed in the Gauteng A-Team that came first.

Curro Aurora said they were extremely proud of Ragoobeer’s superb results.
