Three suspects aged between 27 and 31 are expected to appear in the Randburg Magistrates’ Court soon to face charges of being in possession of car-breaking implements and suspected stolen goods.

The description of the vehicle and the occupants were given to the officers who then started to search for them.

“They spotted the same vehicle at the corner of Pretoria Avenue and Harley Street in the Randburg CBD,” said Maja. He added the officers proceeded to followed the vehicle and stopped it at the corner of Harley Street and Oak Avenue.

While they searched the vehicle they found that the suspects had with them implements used to break into cars, laptops, foreign passports and a jamming device.”The suspects were immediately placed under arrest,” said Maja.

Maja thanked the community for their contribution in informing the police of any suspicious activities.

“We urge them to continue working together with the police to create a safer environment for us all.”
