Linden Police Station has been hard at work fighting crime in the community.
Members of the K9 visible policing and crime prevention units conducted an operation in Linden, Windsor and surrounding areas on 24 April.
Their operation led to the arrest of 10 suspects for the possession of dagga, four more suspects were arrested for drug possession and 17 suspects were arrested for drunk driving.
Linden police spokesperson Takalani Matumba said she is grateful that these suspects will be brought to book.
“It is with the hard work of all the members of the different units that enabled us to successfully conduct such an operation in the community,” said Matumba.
She added that all those who are caught in criminal acts will face the full might of the law.
The suspects will now appear in the Randburg Magistrates’ Court soon.
