Several roads will be closed on 16 February, so be sure to plan your route if you will be out that Friday night.

  • Republic Road will be completely closed between Malibongwe Drive and Silver Pine Avenue between 6.45pm and 7.15pm.
  • Access to the eastern side of Silver Pine Avenue from Republic Road will be restricted between 6.55pm and 7.15pm.
  • There will be delays on Rabie Street, near its intersection with Aimee Street, between 7.05pm and 8.30pm.

There will also be minor delays along the route through the suburbs of Praegville, Moret, Ruiterhof, Fontainebleau, Jacanlee, Cresta, Robin Hills and Randpark between 6.55pm and 9pm.

“We will be placing traffic advisory notices along the route in the week before the event, and we’ll be doing a mail drop to residents who live on the 10km route,” said Harriers club captain, John Neale.
