Smiles all the way for Randburg achievers

RANDBURG – Joy and relief as matric results are announced

Nothing could wipe away the smiles on the faces of Hoërskool Randburg matriculants as they collected their results at the school on 5 January.

The school achieved an impressive average of 1,6 distinctions per matriculant. One matriculant received eight distinctions, two matriculants obtained seven distinctions, five matriculants obtained six distinctions and seven matriculants received five distinctions.

 

Rieghardt du Preez plans to study at the Tshwane University of Technology.

Principal Pieter Booysen said he was satisfied with the hard work that reaped positive results for the school.

“We expected the results but we are still happy for them. There were some rather positive results as well but we wish them all the best in their future endeavours,” said Booysen.

 

Meagan Klein will work to gain experience.

Meagan Klein who was visibly excited when she fetched her results, said now that she is done with school, she will work as a commercial promotor as well as an actress.

“I will join AFDA, one of the best film, television and performance schools in the country and work as a promoter to gain experience,” said Klein.

TJ Stones will take a gap year before going to university.

 

Zanie Blignaut jumps for joy after receiving her results. She plans to study psychology.

 

Jason de Bruyn and Spencer de Wit are happy with their results.

 

Simon Ridgard will study accounting at the University of Johannesburg.

 

Suane Coetzee will be studying through the University of South Africa.

 

Kayla Visser will study at the University of Pretoria
