SPCA Randburg adoptions and Mandela Day festivities

NORTH RIDING – Coming up to Mandela Day, here are some beautiful faces you could adopt.

Randburg SPCA  has many lovable animals that are desperate for their second chance at a new life.

The adoption fee for dogs is R850 and cats is R750. The fee includes a home check, sterilisation, all up-to-date inoculations including rabies, and microchip and brass ID disc excluding collar. Inoculations once adopted are for the new owner’s account.

Take a look at these precious faces…

Kennel A5, boerboel, female, about five years old.

Kennel A2, boerboel cross, female, about one year old.

Kennel B8, Chinese crested, male, age unknown.

Kennel B8, Chihuahua, male, about three years old.

Kennel C5, neapolitan mastiff, male, about two years old.

For this year’s Mandela Day on 18 July, SPCA Randburg will for the second year run Virtual Adoptions. This is where pictures of dogs or cats are posted on SPCA Randburg’s Facebook page and interested parties can virtually adopt the animal for 67 minutes for R67. Most importantly these animals are available for adoption in real life.

Times are as follows: 9am to 4pm starting on 21 July and from 2pm until 6pm on 22 July. The virtual adoptions will close on 24 July.

They will also be hosting a variety of activities such as hand painting on 22 July as well as Buy a Brick for R67 which will get you a plaque on the Wall of Humanity.
