New school to enhance North Riding community

NORTH RIDING – Acacia Private School in North Riding is expected to enhance the community.

The CEO of the new Acacia Private School in North Riding, Julikias Gandure, is confident that the school will make a difference and enhance the community.

He was speaking during the official launch of the school on 15 June and said he deeply appreciated the support of the community.

“We definitely value our relationship with stakeholders such as religious communities and business communities in this area,” he said.

The school will officially open its doors for learning next January. The primary level will start from Grade R to Grade 4 and will possibly be extended to Grade 6 depending on the number of children wishing to attend. The high school section will start from Grade 8 to 9.

CEO and founder of Acacia Private School, Julikias Gandure, says the school will be part of the community.

“We want to develop entrepreneurs and learners with a vision to solve problems in this century, particularly in South Africa,” he added.

The construction of the school is expected to commence in early July.

The school’s principal Deon Visser said the school was set to instill and equip children with life skills that will allow them to enter tertiary level education and the job market.

“We will ensure that every student will receive a holistic education,” he said.

This means children will be exposed to sport, cultural activities and also be involved in community service activities.
