Movies and family time under the stars for residents of Randpark Ridge
RANDPARK RIDGE – Nothing says community like a movies in the park outing.
Residents of Randpark Ridge and surrounds gathered together for a fun night out at Movies in the Park presented by Chas Everitt.
Chas Everitt hosted two movies on 5 May in Randpark Ridge. Excited visitors were able to cuddle up with lots of blankets and sleeping bags to enjoy Mrs Doubtfire and Box Trolls.
Sunita Renton, real estate agent for the area said,
“This is a community-driven event where we host movies in the park. It is mostly to thank the community for their support and for them to become more familiar with our brand.”
Young and old started piling in earlier on in the evening to set up their little spot Kiewit Park. Some viewers brought blankets, sleeping bags, bean bags, chairs and tables, while others kept it simple.
Local and well-known resident, Carola Trummer added, “This is so great to see everyone having such a great time. It is so important to get to know your neighbours. This and other events need to be a regular thing, we are so blessed as a community.”
The evening was a smashing success with lots of yummy food, drinks and sweets, as families gathered under the stars to enjoy movies.
