RCCI signs ground-breaking partnership with Future City Fourways

FERNDALE – A new partnership will expand business opportunities and allow companies to be more successful and profitable.

FERNDALE – The new partnership between Future City Fourways and the Randburg Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI) is expected to grow and expand business opportunities.

It will help members from both organisations collaborate and share ideas which will allow for companies to be more successful and profitable.

Representatives of both organisations, Neil Pollock and Advocate Jean Berdou, signed the groundbreaking partnership on 27 February in Ferndale. Pollock, who represented the chamber of commerce, said this partnership would create community and business opportunities for members of both organisations.

“The RCCI will support Future City Fourways with their initiatives and endeavours – considering that we share their vision of creating safer, cleaner, and well-maintained cities.”

He encouraged institutions and non-governmental organisations, including residents’ associations, to join and work together to create a better community in the north of Johannesburg.

“We have an open door approach policy,” he said.

The chamber of commerce’s CEO Linda Blackbeard said the chamber was connected to municipal, regional and governmental portfolios, which will no doubt benefit the Future City Fourways members.

“This is the second game-changing partnership that the chamber has signed in a short space of time,” she said. “Late last year we formed a partnership with Jozi Sme Hub and we now share our offices and training facilities, available to start-ups, innovators, entrepreneurs and small businesses.”

“Let us arise and build with integrity in 2017 together,” he said.

He added that Future City and the chamber would be making a series of announcements shortly, covering business networking opportunities in South Africa and abroad, mentoring aspirant business leaders and training on certain business and related topics.

“The projects will be run on a non-profit basis by Future City and the chamber, and will open major networking and business opportunities to the Fourways and Douglasdale communities, and much further afield,” he concluded.
