BLAIRGOWRIE – Six armed suspects tied up an elderly man in Blairgowrie as they ransacked his house.

An elderly man was tied up for about two hours at his home at 10am this morning by six armed suspects. The man, who was driving home from his business when he was approached by armed men as he entered his driveway on Blairgowrie Drive.

The six suspects allegedly tied him up while they ransacked his house.

According to the Linden Police, the suspects fled the scene with their victim’s vehicle and other valuable items from his home.

Linden Police operations manager, Captain Alex Vermaak, confirmed the incident and indicated that they were investigating a case of an armed robbery.

“We are currently looking for the suspects,” he said.
