City Power regrets to inform residents that a planned power outage will take place on 6 March in various areas. City Power said that the planned power cuts were due to essential maintenance work that needed to be done on their network and apologised in advance, for any inconvenience caused.
City Power announced in a media statement that the interruption will take place from 5am to 5pm the same day.
“As the supply may be restored at any time, customers are urged to treat their electricity supply points as live at all times.” the statement read.

- Northgate
- Northriding
- Northwold
- Olivedale
- Randpark Ridge
- Strijdom Park
