New pupils settled in well at Curro Aurora Private School

SUNDOWNER – Mixed feelings as parents drop their children at Curro Aurora Private School.

Over 150 pupils began Grade R and Grade 1 at Curro Aurora Private School in Sundowner on 13 January.

School Principal Coiston Veater indicated that it was a hectic morning accompanied with mixed feelings when parents dropped their children at the school.

“We have just finished our morning assembly and most of the pupils have settled well,” he said.

He reckoned that he could not believe how fast pupils grew up, referring to the returning pupils who had started Grade 2 and 3.

During the first break, the young pupils went to the open field and played together with the senior pupils to further settle in.
