Cooper College announced its prefects for 2016 on 27 November.
Cooper College marketing and events manager Genevieve van der Vyver said a special inauguration ceremony was attended by the students and their parents.
“Each prefect was required to sign the prefect oath establishing his or her commitments for the year ahead,” said Van der Vyver.
She added that they also received a gift pack which included a badge, a diary, a pen and a few treats.
“The new head girl, Toni-Marie Faca, and head boy, Thomas Reynecke, were also announced during the ceremony,” said Van der Vyver.
The prefects for 2016 are:
Liam Binedell, Jade-Lee Bramwell, Nigel Chikwanha, Bulelo Landman, Kiyaan Maharajh, Gomolemo Monoametsi, Sihle Nkosi, Kayla Walsh, Ropafadzo Zharare, Kayla Baptista, Sadè Barata, Kaitlyn Kelynack, racy Liang, Nakai Matunge, Donnel Muchinguri, D’ven Naidoo Mersham Naidoo and Kaylee Pollard.
