Eagle Canyon Spar gives back to community

HONEYDEW – Eagle Canyon Spar donates R10 000 to the NGO Ikholwa to show their support towards the community.

Eagle Canyon SuperSpar donated R10 000 to the non-government organisation (NGO) Ikholwa Children’s Home on 26 September.

Eagle Canyon Spar manager Cassandra de Bruyn explained that Spar donates money to different charity organisations every three months and this time through her initiative it was given to Ikholwa Children’s Home.

De Bruyn explained, “Ikholwa focuses on giving hope to AIDS children who have been abandoned or orphaned.”

Administration manager for the Ikholwa Children’s Home, Ulrike Mann couldn’t be reached for comment at the time.

Spar owner Adrian Bal said he loves giving back to the community and will continue to do so.

De Bruyn said the next project Eagle Canyon Superspar will support is the Santa Shoebox project.
