Give this injured pup a home

NORTH RIDING – A sad event caused this little dog to be badly injured.

This poor soul needs caring home after her terrible ordeal.

Female, cross husky, three-year-old dog was rescued by the Randburg SPCA  on 28 May. The Randburg SPCA was called by the Amakoekoe Guest Lodge in Honeydew. The small dog was found on their premises with what looked like serious injuries to her front legs.

A vet who works with the Randburg SPCA inspected the dog, but could not verify the reason for her injuries.

The burns and sores to her front legs could not be completely sourced to a specific incident. It has been speculated that the dog either had her legs burned or had been hit by a car.

The team were able to work on her injuries and she is currently recovering at the Randburg SPCA, Kennel D9. “She is an incredibly sweet dog and would make a great addition to anyone’s home, we would love to give her a home where she will be loved,” said Randburg SPCA kennel manager Leigh de Beaufort.
