Magical moments at medieval fayre

Follow the experience felt at the Magical Medieval Fayre.

‘Let’s all go and be merry’ must have on the minds of the stacks of visitors that descended upon the Magical Medieval Fayre on 6 September in Nooitgedacht.

The anticipation for this event was infallible as the crowd waited at the gates.

The fayre hosted for the third time by neighbours team Meryl Rosenberg and Dayle Mallison.

Young and old and inbetween entered a world of fantasy and fun with queens, kings, knights, fairies ā€“ to even unicorns and wolfhounds.

Among the merry celebrating the South African craft beers and ales, children thrilled in rides on unicorns and stallions.

The variety of stalls did not disappoint, selling everything from potions, to pies and prickly plants ā€“ there was something to excite everyoneā€™s taste.

If folly be your game, an active tomato gallows was in full swing , as well as log tosses, jousting, fire dancers, drum circles and Celtic music.

Well into the evening, all was merry and all had a good night.
