Ann Harding Cheshire Home celebrate women in business

NORTHRIDING – Networking breakfast with a fun twist.

The Ann Harding Cheshire Home for the physically disabled held a delightful women’s networking breakfast on 20 June at the beautiful Cabanga Wedding and Conference venue in Northriding.

Businnesswomen were joined by other women residents from the home.

They were spoiled with goody bags and lucky draws before a scrumptious three-course breakfast was served, which was cooked to paleo-friendly perfection. Bedfordview-based drumming trio, the Drum Busters, was there to entertain attendees after the formalities, much to everyone’s excitement.

A drum or percussion instrument like shakers and tambourines were given to each person, while the drumming trio taught different beats for the women to play.

The trio continued to delight all the women with beautiful flute melodies and mesmerising African beats.

Organiser Jackie Kyle felt that as far as fundraising for the home goes, much more can still be done for their residents.

“It was nonetheless a wonderful day for all our women residents who came and everyone had a great time.”
