Road rage murder trial resumes
Kensington B - Meekahafele Masooa’s trail in the murder of Douglas Pearce to continue.
The case against the man accused of murdering motorcyclist Douglas Pearce in a road altercation on Malibongwe Drive four months ago, will resume on 26 June in the Roodepoort Magistrates’ Court.
Meeka Masooa allegedly shot and killed Pearce in a fit of road rage on Valentine’s morning.
He pleaded not guilty during his bail application on 17 February.
“We appreciate any and all support the community can possible give us,” said Bronwyn Ingram, sister of the deceased. “We would also like to encourage anyone who has further information to contact Honeydew police and tell them what they know.”
