Renault is expanding its Triber range with the addition of the Triber AMT that, according to the French automaker is designed to provide consumers with complete peace of mind with a low cost of maintenance and superior fuel efficiency.
The new Renault Triber AMT is powered by a new generation 1.0-litre three-cylinder petrol engine that makes 52 kW of power and 96 Nm of torque.
It employs a five-speed AMT transmission that drives the front wheels.
According to Renault, the Triber will return 5.5l/100km. In terms of design, the Triber comes fitted with projector headlights, roof rails (with a load capacity of 50kg) and LED daylight running lights. It boasts a ground clearance of 182 mm as well as SUV skid plates.
It comes fitted with C-shaped LED daytime running lights while the rear is bolstered with Eagle beak tail lamps. Renault offers the Triber in four variants; CAMP MODE [2-seater]; SURF MODE [4-seater]; LIFE MODE [5-seater] and TRIBE MODE [7-seater].
Inside, there is an 8-inch MediaNav Evolution touchscreen that comes integrated with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, Voice Command button and video playback on the screen as well as a Smart Access Card for Keyless Entry and Stop/ Start functionality.
