New Audi S7 Sportback now available in SA

The new second-generation Audi S7 Sportback is now available for purchase in South Africa spawning 331 kW of power as well as a sportier look.

First things first. The new Audi S7 Sportback utilises a 3.0-litre TFSI engine that has been paired with a 48V mild-hybrid system that, according to Audi increases efficiency.

The engine makes 331 kW power as mentioned earlier and a huge 600 Nm of torque.

The transmission comes courtesy of an eight-speed Tiptronic gearbox that sends power to all four wheels via the standard Quattro system.

The new Audi S7 Sportback dashes from a standstill to 100 km/h in 4.6 seconds en route to a top speed of 250 km/h. On the outside, the S7 Sportback wears the same design language worn by the brand’s latest products.

It adds distinctive S trim elements in dark chrome and aluminium on the radiator grille lamellas, the front blade, the side air inlet, the exterior mirrors and the rear diffuser.

There are HD Matrix LED headlights with animated rear lights as well as four tailpipes. It rides on standard 21-inch wheels in an S-specific wheel design.

The interior features an extended range of standard equipment to enhance interior comfort.

This includes the Audi virtual cockpit with a 12.3-inch display, MMI navigation plus, four-zone automatic air conditioning, HD touch displays with haptic feedback, contour ambient lighting with up to 30 colours, Audi phone box and smartphone interface, Bang and Olufsen premium sound system with 3D sound and a panoramic glass sunroof.

The full suite of Audi connect technology around connected infotainment, remote services, safety and convenience features are a few of the key standard specification. S sport seats come standard with integrated head restraints.

For added comfort, Audi offers multi-adjustable customized contour seats optionally with ventilation and massage.

The standard seat upholstery is available in Valcona leather with embossed S logo with the no-cost option to choose a combination of leather and Alcantara or Valcona leather and Milano leather combination, perforated.

Customers have a choice of the colours black, rotor grey and arras red. A variety of leather packages are available for customizing the interior further.

Instead of the standard inlays in brushed aluminium, fine grain ash or carbon twill is available as an option.

Luggage space is rated at 1 390 litres.

The new Audi S7 TFSI Sportback Quattro Tiptronic is priced at R 1 500 500 and comes standard with the 5 year / 100 000km Audi Freeway Plan, inclusive of all taxes.

The new vehicle is currently available for sale at all Audi Dealerships around South Africa.
