The Proteas Women completed a 2-1 series victory against Bangladesh Women this past Saturday, 23 December with a crushing 216-run win in Benoni.
An historic record breaking 243-run stand between Laura Wolvaardt (126 off 134 balls) and Tazmin Brits (118 off 124 balls) was the catalyst for the Proteas win.
Bangladesh did not have an answer and were bowled out for 100.
The Proteas confidence grew after achieving an 8-wicket win in the second ODI at the J.B. Marks Oval in Potch.
Anneke Bosch (65 off 63 balls), Wolvaardt (54 off 67 balls) and Brits (50 off 84 balls) showed great composure in their chase off 222/4.
