North West Dragons star helps SA A to series win against Sri Lanka

Senuran Muthusamy took 2/42 from 9 overs and also hit an unbeaten 45 (55).

The SA A cricket team are currently on tour in Sri Lanka, where they achieved a 2-1 One Day series win against Sri Lanka A this past week.

The SA A side completed a 5-wicket victory in the third one day match thanks to North West Dragons all-rounder, Senuran Muthusamy’s contributions with bat and ball.

Muthusamy took 2/42 from 9 overs and also hit an unbeaten 45 (55) as he and Tristan Stubbs (58 off 93) took SA A to the win with an unbeaten 74-run partnership for the sixth wicket.

Earlier on, Gerald Coetzee (5/48) ripped the heart out of the Sri Lankan batting line-up as the hosts were dismissed for 172 in Palekelle.

SA A now shift their focus to the two unofficial tests against Sri Lanka A in Dambulla. The first test is scheduled to start on Monday, 12 June.
