The Potchefstroom Polocrosse (PoloX) club’s riders are in great form this year. Three of their top young riders were chosen for a Scholars Development Tour to Bulawayo in Zimbabwe from 15 to18 April 2022.
Two brothers and learners from Volkskool Potchefstroom, Jonathan and Christopher Thornhill and Mwalimu Modise (Vryburg) are part of the seven-strong boys’ team.
Seven girls will also participate in the tour. The team’s coach is Gavin Cocker, with Karen Cocker fulfilling manager and horse-coordinator duties.
This is a fantastic achievement and a superb opportunity for the Potchefstroom Polocrosse riders to gain experience and improve their skills during the tour.
