NWU hurdles champ ready to shine in Naples

Finland, Germany, Netherlands and France are just some of the places where the exciting 110-m hurdles athlete, Tiaan Kleynhans has competed.

One of his proudest achievements is undoubtedly competing in the Summer Universiade at the San Paulo Stadium in Naples, Italy from 3 to 13 July. This will be the first time the 22-year-old will compete in the contest that takes place biannually.
“It is a once in a lifetime opportunity and a good platform to compete against the best, so I am very excited,”said Kleynhans.

“The best is yet to come. My goal is to go to the 2020 Olympics in Tokyo, Japan”.
