She normally racks up the podiums on her mountain bike, but this past Sunday, Potchefstroom Gimnasium’s, Joné van Eeden, showed that she is just as capable as a road cyclist.
Van Eeden took an outstanding third place overall in the u.19 category in her first road race and first SA Youth Road Cycling National Championships on 23 June in Westville.

Van Eeden was happy to take the third place and thank her coach, Johann Wykerd and Willie Pelser as well as her parents for their constant support. Results:
