The Proteas Women will want to showcase their mettle against the somewhat unpredictable Sri Lankans who under the captaincy of Chamari Atapattu can be a tough nut to crack. The Proteas though will still be favourites with regulars such as captain Dané van Niekerk, Chloe Tryon, Lizelle Lee and Mignon du Preez among the stars on show.

The Sri Lankans will also bring a relatively balanced squad to SA with veterans such as batters, Shashikala Siriwardena, Prasadani Weerakkody and seamer Udeshika Prabodhani in the mix. Newcomers such as Tharika Sewwandi and Imalka Mendis will also look to gain valuable experience in this tour.
