Pukke’s best hockey players in action this weekend at Elite Club Challenge

Hockey fever will run high in Potchefstroom this weekend as both male and female teams of NWU Pukke will be in action on their home astroturf. On Saturday 25 February and Sunday 26 February, they will battle it out against some of Gauteng’s best sides such as Tuks in the Elite Club Challenge.

Other teams that will also be in  action on the astroturf will be the Wanderers, Wits, Old Eds, JSA and UJ.

Pukke will hope to get better results against Tuks this time around, after a few narrow losses in last weekend’s warm-up matches. NWU’s men’s team lost 2-3, while the Pukke ladies went down 0-2.

In Pukke’s second match on Sunday, 18 February, the men lost 0-1 while the ladies won 2-1.
