Former Old Boy now a Blue Bull

Potchefstroom’s own rugby star, Edgar Marutlulle, has made a move from the Southern Kings to the Blue Bulls for their upcoming Currie Cup sesaon.

This was announced this week by Blue Bulls management, after the coclusion of the Kings Super Rugby campaign.

The former Old Boy from Potchefstroom Boys High makes the trek back North, after a number of good performances for the struggling Kings.

The Blue Bulls will most likely use Marutlulle in the place of regular hooker, Adriaan Strauss, who will be on Springbok duty during their Currie Cup campaign.

A stellar run with the Blue Bulls might just give Marutlulle the chance to gain a permanent spot in the Blue Bulls set-up.
