The results of these two games secured the Flames’ stay at the top with a comfortable 11-point advantage.

During the Flames vs Kingdom Stars game, Fikile “Fifi” Mkhuzangwe of Flames was declared Player of the Match and was awarded a cheque for R5 000. She shared her excitement and attributed it to hard work and dedication.

“I am very happy and excited to be named the Player of the Match, it means hard the work has paid off for me,” she said.

Dorette Badenhorst, NW Flames’ coach expressed her gratitude after winning the toughest games in the tournament, so far.
