The ever popular KFC Mini Cricket Festival was another hit in Potchefstroom this year when thousands of kids, coaches, parents and interested parties came together for a fun and educational day in the sun.
North West Cricket hosted this festival on 24 October 2015 at HTS Potchefstroom and was a fantastic picture for cricket in general. The kids were kitted out in red and white and gave quite a show with bat, ball and in the field.
The event hosted a total of 1020 kids and 166 coaches, with 90% of the kids executing the basic disciplines of Mini Cricket properly. Thank you to the volunteer coaches for all the hard work and efforts they put into this program,” said Rico Ramokheti, North West KFC Mini Cricket coordinator.
