Police ask the community for help in murder investigation

The Potchefstroom community is reeling after the tragic murder of 31-year-old Jacob Lebogang Sefuri. The incident occurred in the early hours of Wednesday, 6 March 2023.

According to police reports, Sefuri’s lifeless body was found on the N12 road between Potchefstroom and Klerksdorp, near the TPA camp. Disturbingly, his hands and feet were bound together with black cable ties, suggesting foul play. It is suspected that Sefuri was deliberately placed on the road, where he was tragically killed by a passing truck.

The exact circumstances surrounding the incident remain unclear, and the Potchefstroom police are actively seeking information from the public to aid in their investigation.
