Body of 73-year-old missing man found in bushes near Brits

The missing body of 73-year-old Makitla Phillimon Mohale was discovered on Tuesday, 18 June 2024, in the bushes near Sephai Village, Jericho near Brits. The discovery was made by a shepherd around 13:00, following which an inquest docket was registered at Jericho Police Station.

According to initial reports, the shepherd noticed the body and promptly alerted local police. The circumstances surrounding Mohale’s death remain unclear, prompting the police to open an inquest docket to further investigate the circumstances.
