Help requested in locating missing mentally challenged man

Isaac Otimile “Timi” Keorapetse (43) is mentally challenged and went missing from Lichtenburg the morning of 4 April.

The Lichtenburg Police Station requested help from the community in locating a missing man. The man, Isaac Otimile “Timi” Keorapetse (43) lives in Bakerville village outside Lichtenburg and was last seen around 6:00 Thursday morning, 4 April 2024. Isaac’s sister provided the police with information regarding the circumstances in which he went missing. Isaac and his sister had to visit Bophelong Psychiatric Hospital in Mahikeng so that Isaac could receive medical care. He receives regular care as he is mentally challenged. Isaac’s sister stated that she prepared a bath for him and went into another room. When she went to check on him around 7:00 that morning, he was nowhere to be found. He was allegedly last seen crossing the Lichtenburg / Zeerust road headed for the Kleynhans farm. He was wearing a red short sleeved shirt, black tracksuit pants and green tekkies. Police and community members have been conducting searches since Friday, 5 April but are yet to find Isaac. Isaac is about 1.6 m tall and can be identified further through the picture attached. Given that Isaac is mentally challenged, it is especially urgent that he is found.
