YADSA March for drug awareness, Promosa
YADSA hosts march to inform youth about drugs and the dangers of substance abuse.
Youth Against Drugs And Substance Abuse (YADSA), is a recently established youth group in Potchefstroom. The purpose of the youth group is to address the high substance abuse in Potchefstroom and surrounding areas.
A drug awareness event will be hosted from 8 to 9 December. On Friday, 8 December schools in Promosa will be visited to share the danger of drug and substance abuse with learners, and to teach learners to abstain from irresponsible behaviour. Saturday 9 December a drug awareness march will be held to educate and enable young people to reject illicit drugs. This goal includes preventing drug use and encouraging occasional users to discontinue use.
The Saturday program will start of at 7:30 AM until late.
