Extended power outage tomorrow due to maintenance

The J.B. Marks municipality notifies residents of a power outage that will occur tomorrow (Thursday, 8 June) from 06:15-18:00.

This is due to Eskom conducting essential repairs and maintenance on their equipment (132/11 kV line network)

According to municipal spokesperson, Jeanette Tshite, the following areas will be affected:

• Old and new Baillie Park
• Grimbeeck Park
• Vanderhoff Park
• Mooivallei Park
• Vyfhoek
• Bult Area
• Tuscany Ridge
• Vyfhoek Mall
• Some areas of the CBD

“The leadership of JB Marks Local Municipality once again apologises to all residents who will be affected by envisaged power interruptions,” stated Tshite.
