Load shedding affects network systems

The J.B. Marks Municipality notifies residents that the Backup UPS Power utility at the Dan Tloome Main Building is currently offline due to load shedding.
“All Municipal Sites such as Ikageng, Promosa and Ventersdorp Rates Halls that include Dan Tloome
Main Building are non-operational. All the Network Systems are offline and that will be until the
problem has been addressed by personnel from Technical Services,” stated JB Marks municipal spokesperson, Jeanette Tshite.
The municipality advises residents to make use of facilities such as vendors, banks and outlets like Pick ‘n Pay, Spar, Checkers and Shoprite for purchase of electricity and payment of municipal bills.
“We highly regret the inconvenience caused to residents due to current power challenges. We request
them to be calm and patient whilst the Municipality resolves the matter. We would notify them as soon as the network system gets back online,” added Tshite.
