Potchefstroom police are seeking the public's assistance in identifying three persons of interest.

Potchefstroom police are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying three persons of interest. Their ages range from 19 to 37, and they speak Sotho. They may be able to assist the police in a robbery reported at midday on Tuesday, 17 January 2023 near Wallis Street in Potchefstroom.

According to police spokesperson, Colonel Adele Myburgh, during the incident, two students were allegedly walking, when they were overpowered by suspects and threatened with knives. “They were robbed of cellular phones, cash and their carry bags containing various personal documents,” she said.
