As a continuous quality improvement intervention to ensure easy access to hospital services, Witrand Hospital’s open day aims to bring services closer to the community.

The open day will happen at Witrand Hospital’s recreation hall from 10:00 to 14:00 on Thursday, 10 November under the theme, “Your Health, Your Quality Conscience; Do the Right Thing”. Your health matters to us, take charge of your health.

The primary purpose of the event is to inform people about Witrand Hospital’s services and supporting programmes like physical medicine (strokes and head injuries), substance abuse rehabilitation units, etc. Witrand Hospital’s specialised services and health screening, including mental health, are available to users and potential users at Witrand Hospital. Invitees include immediate communities and NGOs like Famsa, Ebenezer Home, Thakaneng, etc. Members of the mayoral committee, ward councillors, Grade 7 and 8 learners, churches, sub-district clinics and health promotion teams, Witrand Parents Association and Witrand Hospital board, etc.

What you can expect from the Open Day:

Screening for health conditions and stalls displaying specialised services offered at Witrand Hospital. Sharing health information, education, and communications materials.
