The J.B. Marks Consumer and Rate Payers Association (JBMCRA) has put together a survey that provides an opportunity for residents and business owners to report on the J.B. Marks municipality’s failures to deliver on any of the services it is legally supposed to provide.

The purpose of this survey is to collect information that will allow the association to engage constructively with the municipality. The aim is not to directly address complaints through infrastructure repairs or legal challenges. These avenues will only be considered once legal advice has been obtained and the necessary financial resources are secured.

The main sections that reside within service delivery are illegal activities, road infrastructure, water and sewage, electricity and other infrastructure like buildings, sports facilities, museums and libraries, and cemeteries.

To take part in the survey, follow https://forms.gle/tNSWJv1JPJrkEjF9.

The board members of the JBMCRA also invite you to become a formal member. The JBMCRA is an apolitical and culturally diverse association and your annual membership fee will support initiatives to address the shortcomings in municipal service delivery experienced by residents and business owners.

The association’s constitution makes provision for affiliated members too. No membership fees will be required from affiliated members, but they will not have voting powers in the association. Please consider becoming a full member.
