The water interruptions that were rescheduled to 5 and 6 February, have been postponed due to unforeseen technical hitches.
The water shutdown would have been due to the repair of the water leaks that were found in the water systems located at Cnr Louis le Grange and Meyer Street. Jeanette Tshite, the local municipality’s spokesperson, claims that the challenges experienced are on the part of the selected service provider.
“The scheduled repairs have since been postponed to a later date that will be made known to the public. The Municipality sincerely regrets any inconvenience that may have been caused to the community,” she said.
