The police arrested a 54-year-old man for allegedly raping his 18-year-old niece since she was five years old.
The arrest took place in Ext. 7 on Sunday.
According to Sgt Kelebogile Trom, the police spokesperson the last alleged rape incident happened last Thursday.
“The complainant was in her bedroom when her grandmother called her and said her uncle was waiting for her to pray together. She went to his place and her uncle grabbed her as she was walking between the outside toilet and the garage. He asked her to kiss him and the teen agreed. He then commanded her to undress and proceeded to rape her. The girl said her uncle had been violating her since she was five years old,” Trom reported.
