Man murdered execution style in Promosa
A post-mortem report has revealed that the man who was found in a veld behind Primrose Street in Promosa was shot in the back of his head. Sgt Trom, the SAPS spokesperson said the police had identified the body as 26-year-old John Sechwancho of Ext. 7.
A post-mortem report has revealed that the man who was found in a veld behind Primrose Street in Promosa was shot in the back of his head.
Sgt Trom, the SAPS spokesperson said the police had identified the body as 26-year-old John Sechwancho of Ext. 7. A passer-by discovered the body at about 06:45 last Wednesday.
Trom says the community member called them to the scene. ‘Upon their arrival, they found an African male bleeding from his nose with a wound at the back of his head.’
She says no one has been arrested and the investigations are continuing.

The latest crime statistics indicate that 24 people were murdered in Ikageng and Promosa between1 April 2017 and 30 March 2018. The stats indicate a decline in comparison to the 31 murder incidents in the two areas for the 2016/2017 financial year.
